So, I saw that two weeks ago when I was having a walk in the Englisher Garten and taking some pictures for my Flickr Autumn album . I was already aware of guys surfing on a static wave in a river crossing the garden. But this kind of thing…never saw that before! It's kind of weired. The water moves down pretty quickly in that river. So the guys are laying back with their board under their feet so the elastic gets tense. Then when it'sr eally tight, they stand up quickly and the board gets pulled by the elastic. Quite hard to explain. You have to see that.
They call that “Wälle reiten”…well funny!
